BIOGRAPHY
In 1988 Alice Matilda Blomquist was born in Stockholm, Sweden.
During her kindergarten days Alice Matilda refused to draw houses, families and pets like the other children. Instead she painted abstract clouds and patterns using nothing but black, brown and gray crayons. She grew up to become an odd child in the safe suburbia of Stockholm.
After two years of standard high school, Alice Matilda scared her parents to death by dropping out.
By her own initiative she made what would become one of the most important decisions of her life.
Alice Matilda started high school all over again at a Stockholm based tailoring, fashion and design school.
After three successful years with school and off the record private commissions, she graduated and had her first ever collection receiving praise and press in her native Sweden.
Alice Matilda Blomquist creates under the name Alice Matilda.
Alice Matilda is not publicly sold but only available by request or private commissions.
